Terms and Conditions for the ‘Win a place in the 2027 Berlin Marathon’ competition organised by BLACKROLL AG
1. Organiser and competition
1.1. The organiser of the competition is BLACKROLL AG, Hauptstrasse 17, 8598 Bottighofen, Switzerland (‘Organiser’).
1.2. The competition is being run under the name ‘Win a place at the 2027 Berlin Marathon’. The purpose of the competition is to promote BLACKROLL products and the benefits for members of The Circle at sponsored events, and to run a competition for marketing purposes.

2. Eligibility
2.1. Entry is open to natural persons aged 18 or over who are resident in the EU or the United Kingdom, have legal capacity, provide truthful personal details and have an Email address.
2.2. Employees of the organiser, employees of affiliated companies, and persons involved in the design or organisation of the prize draw, including their respective family members, are excluded from taking part.
2.3. Entry is free of charge and not conditional upon the purchase of any goods or services.
2.4. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries, in particular via different Email addresses, user accounts or automated processes, are not permitted.

3. Entry requirements 3.1. To validly enter the competition, the entrant must complete the following action in full within the entry period: complete registration for The Circle and consent to receiving marketing communications.
3.2. The details required for entry must be complete, correct and up to date. Incomplete, incorrect or falsified details may result in exclusion from the competition.
3.3. Where subscription to a Newsletter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry, consent to receive the Newsletter must be given separately and expressly. This consent may be cancelled at any time with future effect. Cancellation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such cancellation. If consent is cancelled before the end of the entry period, participation in the competition shall be deemed not to have taken place.

4. Entry period
4.1. The competition will run from 27 September 2026 at 00:00 CET until 15 November 2026 at 23:59 CET (‘participation period’). 4.2. Entries received outside the participation period cannot be considered.
4.3. The organiser reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the competition early for good cause, in particular if technical faults, tampering, legal grounds or other circumstances impair the proper conduct of the competition.
5. Prize
5.1. The following prize will be drawn at random from all valid entries: a starting place at the 2027 Berlin Marathon.
5.2. Only one prize may be won per person.
5.3. The prize may not be redeemed for cash, exchanged or transferred to another person.
5.4. The prize comprises exclusively the services and benefits expressly stated in these terms and conditions. All additional costs, including travel, meals, supplementary, consequential or other incidental costs, are to be borne by the respective winner, unless expressly stated otherwise.

6. Selection and notification of the winner
6.1. The winner will be selected by a random draw from all valid entries on 16 November 2026.
6.2. The winner will be notified by Email within 2 days of the draw.
6.3. If the winner does not reply within 5 days of being notified, or if the prize cannot be awarded for reasons attributable to the winner, the claim to the prize shall lapse. In this case, the organiser may draw a replacement winner.
6.4. The winner will only be announced publicly if separate consent has been obtained for this, or if such an announcement is expressly necessary for the conduct of the prize draw and is legally permissible.
6.5. Acceptance of the prize is voluntary.

7. Exclusion from participation
7.1. The organiser is entitled to exclude persons from the competition if they breach these terms and conditions of entry, provide false information, manipulate or attempt to manipulate the competition, or otherwise behave unfairly.
7.2. This applies in particular to multiple entries, automated entries, the use of false identities, technical manipulation or the infringement of third-party rights.
7.3. In the event of exclusion, any prize already awarded may be cancelled and, to the extent permitted by law, reclaimed.

9. Liability
9.1. The organiser shall be liable without limitation in cases of wilful misconduct and gross negligence, as well as for damage resulting from Injury to life, limb or Health.
9.2. In cases of slight negligence, the organiser shall only be liable for injuries to essential obligations, the fulfilment of which is essential for the proper conduct of the prize draw. In such cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable, typically occurring damage. Any further liability is excluded.
9.3. Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.

10. Final provisions
10.1. Swiss law shall apply. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the participant has their habitual residence shall remain unaffected.
10.2. Legal recourse regarding the conduct of the prize draw and the selection of winners is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
10.3. Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
