Christoph Ebenbichler

Christoph Ebenbichler is a certified sports scientist, a passionate mountaineer, and an expert in exercise and rehabilitation. He teaches at the Institute of Sports Science at the University of Innsbruck and has been working as an athletic and rehabilitation trainer at the Olympic Center Tyrol Innsbruck since 2010, where he coaches numerous top Austrian athletes and up-and-coming athletes.
“Consistency in your efforts over a long period of time will always lead to success.”
With over 15 years of experience in elite sports, Ebenbichler has developed comprehensive expertise—ranging from fostering a love of sports in his own children to providing individualized support for Olympic athletes at the Olympic Center Tyrol-Innsbruck. His work encompasses not only coaching but also consulting for sports companies, planning and executing sporting events, and a wide range of speaking engagements as a coach and keynote speaker.
A central component of his work is the crisis management method he developed, “5 Steps Matter,” which he applies in both training and rehabilitation. His coaching philosophy is based on the values of inspiration, trust, and consistency. For him, movement is an art—a process that enables optimal training, efficient work, and a sustainable lifestyle.
As a married father of two, he understands the challenges of balancing sports, work, and everyday life. His goal is to advise, inspire, and motivate people—whether in competitive sports, rehabilitation, or personal development.
