Thanks, FIBO!
FIBO only happens once a year. That’s why we definitely didn’t want to miss it. On the contrary—we wanted to make a statement there. And that’s exactly what we did. In the entrance area of the world’s largest trade show for fitness, wellness, and health, we set up a giant inflatable RECOVERY SLOPE that guided all visitors to our booth and helped them improve their posture.

Fitness models, bodybuilders, athletes, businesspeople, people in light athletic attire, sweating athletes, celebrities—a mix that’s probably unique to FIBO. The “Fitness and Bodybuilding” trade show has been held annually in Cologne since 1985. BLACKROLL has been participating as an expert in recovery, fitness, and health since 2014. Since then, not only has our booth grown in size year after year, but we’ve also seen an ever-increasing demand for our products. This year, we were on-site with a team of Campusrollers and headquarters staff. And we’re happy to say: FIBO 2024 was a huge success for BLACKROLL.

This reflects the economic trend across the entire industry. Last year, both membership numbers at fitness and health facilities and the industry’s total revenue increased. “Health, fitness, and a long, fulfilling life are becoming a top priority for more and more people and represent an important market of the future,” says Michael Köhler, Managing Director of trade show organizer RX Deutschland, in the FIBO press release.
AI has also made its way into the fitness industry—for example, as a tool to help guide workouts—and, like “longevity,” is considered a future trend. Sleep and recovery play a fundamental role in this movement. So it’s no wonder that trade show visitors were happy to treat themselves to a break at our RECOVERY BASE, that demand for the RECOVERY PILLOW was high, and that, among others, actor Mark Keller took some time out to try the COMPRESSION BOOTS.

Our team of employees has proven time and again that BLACKROLL doesn’t shy away from athletic challenges. They demonstrated this once more at the HYROX competition in Cologne. In this new trend sport—which combines running with eight different workouts—the BLACKROLL team took 14th place.
We’re already looking forward to FIBO 2025!
