Test the RECOVERY BASE BALANCE at home at your own pace and find out whether the sleeping feel, firmness, and ergonomics suit you.
The cover is removable and washable. Do not wash the mattress core. Regular airing helps maintain a pleasant sleep climate.
H2/medium-soft/Mi-ferme is the more adaptive, pressure-relieving version.
H3/Medium-Firm/Ferme is the firmer, more stable version.
If you are between the two, choose H2 for more give and H3 for more stability.

Pocket spring hybrid instead of a foam block.
The hybrid construction of the RECOVERY BASE BALANCE combines adaptive foam layers with a pocket spring core. This creates a sleeping feel that reduces pressure while staying stable. Support is created exactly where your body needs it. Especially around the back, pelvis, and hips.

Find the firmness level that suits you.
Choose your firmness level first based on your body weight. At ≤ 80 kg, H2 – Adaptive & pressure-relieving is usually the better fit. At ≥ 90 kg, H3 – Firm & responsive often provides more stability. If you are between 80 and 90 kg, your preferred sleeping feel matters most: more adaptability with H2 or more firmness with H3.

FAQ
BALANCE feels neither overly soft nor hard: the surface gives way selectively at the shoulders and hips, while the 7-zone pocket spring core provides stable support for the back and pelvis. H2 is more adaptive and pressure-relieving. H3 is firmer and more responsive.
Yes. The mattress has a 7-zone pocket spring core.
Yes. The BALANCE GRID is positioned in key pressure zones and was developed especially to relieve shoulders and hips.
Up to 80 kg, H2 – Adaptive & pressure-relieving is usually the obvious choice. Between 80 and 90 kg, your preferred feel decides: H2 for more contouring, H3 for more stability. From 90 kg, H3 – Firm & responsive is the more stable recommendation.
Yes, the SoftTouch Recovery Cover is removable and washable at 60°C.
Hybrid means the mattress combines several materials with clear functions. On top, the BALANCE GRID provides targeted relief at pressure points. In the middle, the transition layer connects comfort and stability. At the core, the 7-zone pocket spring system provides dynamic support. This creates a sleeping feel that is not simply soft or firm, but balanced.
A pure foam mattress usually gives way across the surface. BALANCE works in zones: the surface relieves shoulders and hips, while the pocket spring core keeps back and pelvis stable. The result is more structure, more support, and a calmer sleeping feel throughout the night.
For lighter people and children, medium-firm is usually recommended because the surface can give way a little more.
Yes, but choosing the right firmness level is especially important here. Stomach sleepers usually benefit from more stability so the pelvis does not sink too deeply. That is why Firm & responsive is often the better choice. Back sleepers mainly need a good balance of pressure relief and support. BALANCE is designed for this: the pocket spring core supports the spine, while the surface still reduces pressure at key contact points.
