Goosebumps at Challenge Roth
We’re still blown away by yesterday’s Challenge Roth, THE triathlon festival in Europe’s triathlon stronghold.
A heated race was in store: Over 3,200 athletes from 50 nations took the start. A 3.8 km swim, 180 km bike ride, and a marathon in summery temperatures exceeding 30 degrees.
Challenge Roth kicked off at 6:30 a.m. After 48:54, top athlete Jan Frodeno was the first swimmer out of the water, followed closely by Maurice Clavel. The first professional female triathlete wasn’t far behind either: Fenella Lanridge sprinted into the transition zone in 51:44. Defending champion Anne Haug finished the swim in 5th place. But nothing has been decided yet. True to her motto: “Now it’s time to go after the men.”

What a bike course! Anyone who’s ever been to Solarer Berg knows what a lively atmosphere it has. You can’t get better cheering than this! ;-) The athletes pedal uphill amid the cheering crowd. Most of them aren’t showing their exertion here, but rather their brightest smiles of joy. You can feel the vibes in the air. #goosebumps
Jan Frodeno was once again the first to switch from his bike to his running shoes, but unfortunately, his Achilles tendon was causing him pain and forced him to withdraw. We’re still impressed by your performance, Jan, and wish you a speedy recovery. Maybe one or two BLACKROLL tools could help. ;-)
Ditlev Magnus ran a top-notch marathon and won Challenge Roth with a time of 7:35:50. Anne Haug successfully chased down the men. After 8:22:43, she ultimately clinched the race with a strong run. We congratulate the winners Magnus Ditlev, Patrick Lange, Reinaldo Colucci, Anne Haug, Fenella Langridge, and Judith Corachán—and, of course, all the finishers. You guys are amazing and you’ve totally earned your recovery. Here’s a little exercise inspiration. ;-)

Thanks to everyone who visited us at our BLACKROLL booth. It’s always a pleasure to experience your enthusiasm for our products in person. #meetblackroll #doityourhealth
See you next year, Challenge Roth!
