Poor posture combined with lack of mobility is very often the starting point for neck, shoulder and back pain. Our posture belt serves as a reminder for an upright posture. If the shoulders fall forward, the slight pull exerted by the back belt reminds the user to actively adopt an upright posture. The posture reminder function is based on biofeedback, whereby the body is guided into a natural position.

  1. Adjust the two shoulder straps to a wide stance by opening the Velcro straps so you can easily put on the POSTURE like a jacket. Before you put on the POSTURE, fix the Velcro fasteners again so that the straps do not slip through the buckle on the back.
  2. When the POSTURE fits comfortably around both shoulders, use the Velcro straps to adjust the intensity so that it reminds you of an upright posture.
  3. You won‘t find a size scale on the POSTURE on purpose. Adjust the POSTURE yourself so that it feels good to you. It should not be un-comfortable in any way. When you stand upright, you should barely feel the POSTURE. When your shoulders drop forward, you should feel a slight tug. This should remind you to bring your shoulders back.

There are a few points you should pay attention to when wearing the posture belt in order to achieve the desired effect:

  • Adjust the POSTURE correctly: Wearing it should feel comfortable when you have good posture, but tight when you take your shoulders forward. Good posture means that your shoulders are in a vertically straight line with your hocks, hips and earlobes.
  • The POSTURE should never be worn too tightly. You should always be able to slip two fingers under the shoulder straps.
  • The POSTURE should be worn for a maximum of 3 hours at a time.

No. Many posture belts from other suppliers are completely stiff and force the user into a certain position. This may feel good for a moment, but in the long run it weakens the muscles. The function of the POSTURE is completely different. Unlike many other posture belts, our POSTURE contains flexible and firm elements to remind our subconscious mind to align our upper body in a neutral way. The musculature is strengthened instead of relieved.

We recommend that you wear the POSTURE for a shorter period of time at the beginning, for about one hour. The frequency and duration can be increased over time as your muscles become more trained and your posture becomes more upright and healthy even without the POSTURE. Once your body has achieved good posture without the back belt, you can reduce carrying. Make sure you maintain a healthy and upright posture even after removing the back belt. The POSTURE should be worn for a maximum of 3 hours at a time.

If you have severe back or neck pain or injury, consult a doctor or therapist before wearing the POSTURE posture belt. The POSTURE is not suitable for children under the age of 12.

Washable at 40°C (easy care) with similar colours. We recommend using a washing net.

Try wearing the POSTURE over a thin top and not directly on the skin. Also check the adjustment - you may have adjusted the POSTURE too tightly. Also try wearing it for a shorter time. Do not let the POSTURE force you into an upright posture. It is only meant to remind you to keep an upright posture and thus strengthen your muscles.
