The RECOVERY PILLOW KIDS is the adapted children's version of our popular original pillow. The ergonomically shaped neck and head recess supports a healthy sleeping position and the natural alignment of the spine. At its deepest point, the pillow is only 2 cm high, enabling a healthy neck position. The RECOVERY PILLOW KIDS offers optimal sleeping comfort for children aged 4 and up – regardless of whether they sleep on their back, side, or stomach.

90 nights with your RECOVERY PILLOW KIDS. Sleep on it first!
Since it takes a little time to get used to a new pillow, we give your child 90 nights to try it out. Make yourselves comfortable at home. And if it's not right for your little ones, you can send it back free of charge.
The pillow itself is not washable, only the cover.
- Turn the cover inside out
- Close the zipper (approx. 90% so that it can be easily opened)
- Do not wash with hard objects (e.g., bras, textiles with Velcro fasteners, zippers, buckles, etc.)
- Optionally use a laundry net
- Wash the cover at 40°C (easy care)
- Recommendation: Air dry the cover

The BLACKROLL® Recovery Pillow KIDS is recommended for children aged 4 and above. At this age, the muscles and spine are sufficiently developed for an ergonomic pillow to provide meaningful support during sleep.
Important: The pillow is not suitable for children under the age of 4. In particular, the typical prone position with the buttocks tucked in is a sign that a pillow is not yet needed.
There is no exact upper age limit, as growth and physique vary greatly in young children – especially before and during puberty. As a guideline, we recommend use up to around 10–12 years of age, depending on the child's physical development.
- Size: The KIDS Pillow is flatter (50 × 30 × 6 cm) and adapted to children's proportions. It has the same ergonomic shape as the original pillow, but is lower in height.

Yes – but with restrictions:
Pillows are not recommended for children who sleep in the classic prone position with their bottom up.
The flat design is ideal for older children who sleep flat on their stomach or on their side/back.
Tip: Make sure that the spine remains straight in the prone position – not overextended.

Yes – that's completely normal. Many children (and parents) are used to classic, flat pillows. The ergonomic head and neck recess of the RECOVERY PILLOW KIDS therefore sometimes feels “different” during the first few nights. The hollow ensures that the head is gently centered and the neck is supported in a natural, straight position. Precisely because this shape actively stabilizes, the body sometimes needs a few nights to get used to it. Children usually adapt very quickly to new sleeping environments.
We recommend that parents check their child's position when they fall asleep:
Back and stomach position: Head is centered in the hollow, chin is neither tilted down nor back.
Side position: Head and shoulders form a straight line without bending.
The low height has been deliberately chosen. At its lowest point, the pillow is only 2 cm high, so that the neck is not overstretched and the spine remains in a natural alignment. It is particularly important for children that their heads are not positioned too high. The hollow ensures that the head is centered and the neck and spine form a straight line.
This is normal, especially at a young age. The pillow provides support whenever it is used.
