BLACKROLL® is all about regeneration – not just for the body, but also for the planet. For years, we have been committed to recycled materials, fair production, and sustainable processes – and we measure sustainability through our regular public welfare balance sheet. But we want to go further. To where pollution originates. To where we can make a real impact: in the rivers of the world.

That's why we have intensified our collaboration with everwave – with a clear, measurable goal: to remove 10,000 kilograms of waste from waterways together.

Why everwave is our partner

everwave is one of the most innovative companies in the field of water pollution control. With their fleet of specially developed waste collection boats, they navigate directly into the waste accumulations in rivers and remove waste from the water via a conveyor belt. Precise, scalable—and above all: effective.

But collection is only the beginning.

everwave's holistic approach

1. Collection: Since 2020, over 2,200,000 kg of waste has already been recovered in Europe and Asia.
2. Sorting & digital analysis: The waste is sorted, dried, and recorded using an algorithm in local zero-waste centers. The data helps to identify hotspots and prevent future pollution.

3. Recycling:

   Europe (e.g., Albania): Two-thirds of waste consists of recyclable material, primarily PET. This enables true recycling.

   Asia (e.g., Cambodia): Only about 20% of waste is recyclable. The rest is used in a controlled manner in co-processing to generate energy—a solution that prevents environmental pollution until better options emerge.

For us, one thing is certain: sustainability must be measurable.

What does that mean?

For every credit we finance, 1 kg of waste is removed from a river—transparently, traceably, and verifiably.
