These 5 essential oils make our balm so special:
- Eucalyptus: Eucalyptus is not only a beautiful tree, but it also contains an effective essential oil. For example, the oil of eucalyptus leaves can inhibit the growth of bacteria and viruses and be used supportively for colds. In our balm, the oil has a cooling and circulation-enhancing effect.
- Peppermint: You certainly know this plant - and maybe it even grows on your balcony or in your garden. We chose the essential oil from the elongated leaves for our muscle balm because it has a skin-cooling, circulation-enhancing and refreshing effect.
- Cypress: This evergreen tree characterizes the landscapes of Tuscany and Provence. The essential oil is used for muscle and joint complaints and can have an analgesic and antispasmodic effect here.
- Juniper: Juniper oil is included in many rheumatism remedies for rubbing in. The oil is said to have a relaxing and antispasmodic effect on the muscles.
- Frankincense: Frankincense is the resin of a tree, the essential oil is extracted from the resin by steam distillation. The essential oil of frankincense has the power to relieve pain and muscle tension and strengthen the immune system.

You can use the product for faster muscle recovery after sports. Apply the balm thinly to the stressed muscle areas and gently massage it in to improve recovery and prevent muscle soreness.
Tip from us: If you apply the balm directly after showering, the effect can be very intense, because your skin pores are opened. Test the product on smaller areas first. Especially if you tend to have circulation problems, you should use it slowly.
Yes, some of the essential oils in the balm can stimulate blood circulation and are therefore suitable for activation before training or competition.
Yes, for sure! Our Balm can also help you with tension (e.g., in the neck area) and relieve pain.
First of all, it's pretty individual. Nevertheless, we will try to describe to you how the balm feels on the skin: The menthol it contains provides a cooling effect at the beginning. Depending on the condition of the body (e.g., warmed up directly after sports or in a relaxed situation) and how high the ambient temperature is, you will feel a differently pronounced, alternating cooling and warming effect. You will feel this effect for about an hour. The effect can be recreated by taking a hot or cold shower.
The smell of the balm is fresh and minty due to the eucalyptus and peppermint oil and menthol.
We do not recommend the product for pregnant women or nursing mothers, as it can be very stimulating.
No. The balm is quickly absorbed and does not leave grease. However, we recommend that you let the balm absorb completely before getting dressed.
Our balm is slightly thicker than common body lotions. The texture is soft: the balm is easy to spread on the skin, absorbs quickly and does not become greasy. The balm is beige to yellowish, the color comes from the contained sea buckthorn.
