We comply with the obligations of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) in Germany and point out the following:
Old electrical appliances (WEEE) must not be disposed of in household waste. They contain valuable raw materials that are harmful to the environment but can be recycled. Consumers are legally obliged to take them to a suitable collection point at a retailer or municipality.
Due to their design, the batteries from BLACKROLL old electrical appliances cannot be safely removed. WEEE from BLACKROLL should therefore only be handed in to public waste management authorities, where it will be separated from other WEEE for the purpose of preparation for reuse.
The dustbin symbol means: old electrical appliances must not be disposed of in household waste.
We comply with the obligations of the Battery Act (BattG) in Germany and point out the following:
Used batteries must not be disposed of in household waste. Batteries contain valuable raw materials that are harmful to the environment but can be recycled. Consumers are legally obliged to take batteries to a suitable collection point at a retailer or local authority.
As we only sell batteries permanently installed in electrical appliances, we are not legally obliged to take back used batteries. Therefore, we ask you to refrain from returning batteries to us, especially for the reason that special regulations for the transport of hazardous goods must be observed when shipping lithium batteries and accumulators.
The dustbin symbol means: Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste.
The chemical designations under the dustbin symbol stand for:
