Valentin Goetz

Valentin Goetz has a passion for movement and physical activity in all its forms—whether up on a mountain, down in a valley, or right in the middle of the water. He turned this passion into a career early on, founding his first company while still studying sports science—a company that, through personal, group, and corporate training, helped others “get moving.” After selling the company, Valentin Goetz found a new professional home for himself and his expertise at the Institute for Workplace Health Consulting (www.ifbg.eu). The IFBG is a consortium of health experts from the Universities of Konstanz and Karlsruhe (KIT). It advises and supports companies in promoting the health of their employees through innovative approaches. Since 2017, Valentin Goetz has headed the “Measures” division there. His areas of focus include exercise, ergonomics, and health communication, as well as the development of technology-based learning platforms. Through projects for clients such as Merck, Witzemann, and the Deutsche Bundesbank, he has gained a wide range of experience and further expanded his expertise in healthy work practices. This also benefits his collaboration with BLACKROLL®, which has set itself the goal of helping people become more active and achieve a better balance in their (office) daily lives.
“Far too many people spend their entire lives sitting, even though no one has sentenced them to do so. Together with BLACKROLL®, I want to change that by ‘getting people moving’ through innovative products and well-thought-out concepts—both at work and in their free time.”
