We've all experienced the feeling at some point. Getting out of bed in the morning and heading to the office isn't always so easy. We manage to quickly grab some breakfast - if time permits - and when you arrive at work you still feel like you haven’t yet woken up.

Sometimes, it might also simply be low motivation or midday low after lunch. And now you're supposed to focus to get your work done? Practically impossible. We often forget that it's precisely in this scenario where a little movement can help to change our emotional state and motivate us.

So, it's high time to practice motivation exercises for the workplace! They'll wake you up and replenish your energy.

Active stretching

Stand up straight on your BLACKROLL® SMOOVE BOARD and stretch your arms towards the ceiling. Stand on your tiptoes and stretch one side of your body up as far as it will go, as though you are trying to pick an apple.

Relax your forearms in the office and home office.

Forearm relaxation

Place your forearm on a table with your palm facing up. Take a BLACKROLL® BALL 08 in your other hand and place it on your forearm. Apply pressure to the ball and massage your forearm using circular motions.

Get your cardiovascular system going.

Office motivation by rocking

Stand up straight on the back edge of your BLACKROLL® SMOOVE BOARD. Shift your weight to alternate between lifting your toes and heels off the ground. The SMOOVE BOARD will start to rock.

Activate your soles.

Foot sole activation

Stand up straight and remove the BLACKROLL® MINI from the SMOOVE BOARD. Place the BLACKROLL® MINI underneath the soles of your feet. Roll forwards and backwards, applying an even pressure. Work the inner and outer edges of the feet as well.
